The Syma X5C is easy to fly. It has great stability and is very responsive. In my opinion, the X5C isn’t just for experienced pilots as it’s quite easy for any beginner to learn how to use. You can fly the Syma X5C close to 10 minutes and up to 30 meters away. It is very agile and will respond to the slightest touch. You can control it up/down, left/right, forward/backward, and leftward/rightward.
Flying is the main focus of the drone controller. The controller has buttons and switches for general directional trim, normal or expert mode, and roll activation. There is no button to control the camera on the controller, but the trim button does help you take photos and videos. Flying the Syma X5C is easy with the controller that fits snuggly in your hands. All of the buttons and switches are easy to maneuver while holding the controller. There is even a feature where you can change it to left or right-hand throttle so it is easier for you to drive. Since it does not have all of the special controls and features of a high priced drone, you know exactly what you are doing all of the time.

On windy days, it can be hard to control due to its light weight. It can be difficult to get a hang of hovering the Syma X5C since it is lightweight and the control buttons are pretty sensitive, but with plenty of practice, it can be done. The good news is the Syma X5C is pretty durable and can take a few minor crashes without any serious damage.
The Syma X5C has a 2MP 720P HD Camera and can capture up to 30 frames per second. This camera is mostly stable in flight and takes mostly good quality pictures. Not every photo is crystal clear quality, but for novices just learning to use a drone, the camera on the Syma X5C is great. The 2GB microSD card included allows you to easily get your videos from the drone to a computer. The controller gives more options for controlling the flight of the drone than it does the camera. The camera stays fixed in one direction, zoom level, and focus.
This camera is not the camera to use if you are looking for stunning aerial photography. The camera is good for general, generic shots. The longer the camera is on, the more the battery is drained. So if you are interested in only flying, make sure the camera is turned off before you start you flying session.
